Benghazi Attack was Blow-back for Obama's Secret Ops; Brennan Appointed CIA Chief to Cover-Up, Control Mess

The New York Times, and we hope Seymour Hersh in particular (see his articles on JSOC secret operation and stealth wars), will likely be all over this breaking story (see below) and new book which proves that the Obama Administration deliberately lied about the reasons for the Benghazi attack while tying together the loose ends that show why former CIA Chief Petraeus was removed (yes, by his own folly, but disclosed for a purpose) and why John Brennan has been appointed by Obama as CIA chief. 

These secret JSOC black ops (outside of CIA oversight and authority) that are taking place under Obama's Executive Authority are similar to precisely what Hersh exposed was happening under the Bush Administration.  Only the targets are different.  This "connects the dots" as to why the Benghazi story was so (deliberately) muddled officially and the sudden (convenient) scandal which ousted David Petraeus from being CIA chief (who was kept in the dark about these ops).

Hey liberals, do you still trust Obama now?  You did think that the scandal that brought down Petraeus and the official Benghazi story were a bit strange and somewhat related, didn't you?  They did not pass the smell test and this article and book sheds a lot of light on these two controversies.

Like we posted earlier about the Benghazi attacks (see article below), it was a classic case of what the CIA calls "blow-back" for the Obama Administration's secret policies.  Now you know the real reason that an "anti-Islamic video" on YouTube was blamed and why former Ambassador Susan Rice said what she said, when she did, in the running commentary.  It's called Plausible Deniability of covert operations by insertion of a "cover story" into the official narrative of the Executive Branch.  (It was for her personal loyalty that Obama staunchly defended Susan Rice against critics of her nomination for Secretary of State).  And
now we know that even the CIA, namely Petraeus, was in the dark about what was going on and why they "needed him removed" (so they could cover their tracks with Brennan in an official capacity).

Behind closed doors, President Obama had given his counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, carte blanche to run operations in North Africa [i.e. including Libya] and the Middle East, provided he didn’t do anything that ended up becoming an exposé in The New York Times [e.g. by Seymour Hersh] and embarrassing the administration. In 2012, a secret war across North Africa was well underway.

Libyan Embassy Attack: A Case of Classic "Blowback" from Interventionist Foreign Policy

In this video commentary from a regional Fox station below the journalist proves very well that the tragic attack and killing of the U.S. Embassy Ambassador in Libya is a classic case of what the CIA calls "blow-back" (i.e. unintended consequences of foreign interventions).  It could also be called the short-sightedness of an interventionist foreign policy.

In other words, the vehement protests and even more serious and deadly attacks being televised by all news agencies are the direct result of bad short term thinking and foreign policy decisions--i.e. meddling in the Middle East, picking winners and losers, in attempt to further "democracy" by revolutions, propping up Arab Spring uprisings and recently overthrowing Gaddafi in Libya in particular by the U.S. and NATO. 

Please note as well, that as during Arab Spring, and sanctions and threatenings against Iran by the U.S. and Israel, tumult in the Middle East (now in the embassy protests and attack) always directly increases oil prices (as traded in the markets, see live chart in upper corner of blog), immediately increasing the gas and fuel prices for all Americans, which immediately causes inflation on all consumers goods.  So yes, foreign policy again directly impacts our domestic tranquility, and lack of it, through its indirect impact upon the economy.  It is a law and maxim that what goes around, indeed, comes back around.  When will Americans learn this connection collectively and demand a change from interventionist foreign policy, particularly in regard to the Middle East?  It is impossible to separate Economic Issues from those of Foreign Policy and "Defense Spending" (as both Obama and Romney as presidential candidates do) as sure as it is to ignore it in regard to the National Debt as well.  (See our earlier articles about Middle East foreign policy and oil prices).

It's time to stop government spending of tax payer's money (increasing the National Debt) on what is called "foreign aid" (as if it's done out of charity instead of manipulation) to all foreign countries (yes, including Israel too) or propping up foreign governments, or helping to destroy others through 'Defense' Spending.  Please note that Al Qaeda began as a CIA supported network to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan!  It's also time for both republicans and democrats to see how tumultuous "democracy" really is in its raw militant form (i.e. mob law), and reject it as a utopian political model, as both James Madison and philosophers as far back as Plato (see quote from Plato's Republic in margin of blog), warned about.  (Hint:  A Muslim form of Democracy is now forming in the Middle East.  How do you like it now?)  There are no checks and balances (as with a Republic) in pure Democracies, which always depend upon coercion and violence to "liberate" some while enslaving others, whether by the majority or the militant minority.  The result is the typical factions we see in the Middle East forming and the violent consequences of such power-struggles.

Watch him weave and dodge this public admission of the man blamed for September 11th (but now swapped for KSM, presently in New York for a 9/11 Show Trial, after being waterboarded 183 times into a "confession" as a patsy), even though the FBI has stated they have "no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to September 11th"!

Of course, after December 2001 (when Bin Laden was reported dead by FOX News also), Bush no longer cared about Bin Laden either (see video on the side of this blog). Keeping this phantom "alive" but unfound has made perfect propaganda for perpetual "war on terrorism", especially in Afghanistan.

Bush Wants Bin Laden Dead or Alive --Again!

Right! Too bad bin Laden already died in Dec. 2001, which is why Bush suddenly lost interest saying essentially, "I'm really not that concerned about one man", and the CIA closed down its Bin Laden unit.

Possible scenario: use UK Special Ops and UAV drones and fire a missile at a safe house near the Paki border, then claim to have killed Bin Laden--great propaganda! Especially if done before Sept. 11, 2008.

It s all a lie, and Bush knows it, which is why he has been caught contradicting himself many times. Or, just ask the neocon contractors (like SITE which feeds the MSM, e.g. ABC's Brian Ross exclusives), let them track the websites of the bin Laden videos that keeping popping up before elections! Surely the $40 billion U.S. Intelligence apparatus could find the source of those videos (instead of employing private contractors), if they wanted.

And note this: The FBI also does not list 9/11 on Bin Laden s "most wanted" poster, and they say "there is no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11 ."

Yes, we know about the "living on through old sound bites"--put out by neocon contractors as propaganda to perpetuate the "war on terrorism", usually coincidental with elections or key legislation. These are just a few sources.

The contradictory reports from the administration coincidental with media and intelligence sources demonstrate the strongest of probabilities (and examining the funeral site, per Egyptian press, would be simple enough) that bin Laden is already dead. That he was the "mastermind of 9/11"--while bin Laden publicly denied having any involvement in (while the administration claimed he "boasted"; CNN source here, Pakistani source here), and pointed to Israeli elements in the U.S.--is an unsubstantiated allegation (and he was a CIA asset, Al Qaeda being a CIA covert op to repel Russia from Afghanistan), and even U.S. propaganda has pinned that title on another patsy now being held in Guantanamo.

It is impossible with this evidence to believe that Americans have been told the truth about either 9/11 or bin Laden's involvement in that "catalyzing event".

Global Research has four good articles on the recent assassination and Pakistan crisis. Here is just one excerpt below, published on Dec. 12th, two weeks prior to Bhutto's assassination, discussing same. People are missing the fact, merely because she was a woman from a predominant populist family, that Bhutto was a favored change for President by the U.S. (neoconservative dominated) government, which was a direct threat to the former puppet President Musharraf whose installation by coupe in 1999 was assisted by covert CIA operations. Musharraf, taking his plays from the neocon propagandists, is of course blaming the assassination of Bhutto (under cover of a holiday season, and prior to elections) on Al Qaeda and "jihadists" (after all, it works in America) for what more than likely was his own conspiracy and plot, to preserve his own power, eliminating his chief opponent, whether he "let it happen" or "made it happen". This game of political tension, however, was started by the U.S. installing him, and financing him with billions (now unaccounted for), some of which might have been extorted as hush money to keep secret what Musharraf knows to be lies, namely about the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and the lies and propaganda about Usama bin Laden being there.

It is likely that Musharraf, who declared martial law earlier and fears for his own life (especially after Cheney's "unannounced" summer visit to threaten him to conform to their ruse for a "war on terrorism" inside Pakistan), will likely be the next target of either the CIA or provoked Islamic "blow-back" of what even a former CIA agent admits was U.S. meddling and covert actions in a major Islamic country that possesses WMD in the form of nuclear weapons. Musharraf will not step down willingly, which implies force will be used against him next.

Interestingly, even the neoconservative UN Ambassador Bolton agrees with this assessment in this FOX interview.

The plan to topple Pakistan's military?

...Another worrying thing is how US officials are publicly signaling to the Pakistanis that Bhutto has their backing as the next leader of the country. Such signals from Washington are not only a kiss of death for any public leader in Pakistan, but the Americans also know that their actions are inviting potential assassins to target Bhutto.

If she is killed in this way, there won't be enough time to find the real culprit, but what's certain is that unprecedented international pressure will be placed on Islamabad while everyone will use their local assets to create maximum internal chaos in the country. A dress rehearsal of this scenario has already taken place in October when no less than the UN Security Council itself intervened to ask the international community to "assist" in the investigations into the assassination attempt on Bhutto on October 18. This generous move was sponsored by the US and, interestingly, had no input from Pakistan which did not ask for help in investigations in the first place.

Some Pakistani security analysts privately say that US "chatter" about Musharraf or Bhutto getting killed is a serious matter that can't be easily dismissed. Getting Bhutto killed can generate the kind of pressure that could result in permanently putting the Pakistani military on a back foot, giving Washington enough room to push for installing a new pliant leadership in Islamabad.

Getting Musharraf killed isn't a bad option either. The unknown Islamists can always be blamed, the military will not be able to put another soldier at the top, and circumstances will be created to ensure that either Bhutto or someone like her is eased into power.

The US is very serious this time. They cannot let Pakistan get out of their hands. They were kicked out of Uzbekistan last year, where they were maintaining bases. They are in trouble in Afghanistan and Iraq. Iran continues to be a mess for them and Russia and China are not making it any easier. Pakistan must be "secured" at all costs.

9/11 Commission Says CIA Lied and Impeded Investigation

Caught in a lie. "Whatever is hidden shall be revealed...". The truth has a way of surfacing.

So the CIA it appears is guilty of perjury, or obstruction of justice, yet Bush gave Tenent the American Freedom medal.

How many still blindly trust the government? Remember Bush and Cheney testified (but not under oath, and without transcript, per their insistence) before the Commission as well. It is impossible to tell if they lied without such documentation. Would the government lie about 9/11? There is plenty of evidence that they have.
