Benghazi-Gate, 'The Bob Schieffer Moment': Obama Administration Confronted on "Face the Nation"

This will go down as "The Bob Schieffer moment", where now even the media, which has given the Obama administration a hedge of protection, now has broadcast clearly that the administration deliberately misrepresented and is refusing to come clean about the Benghazi attack and their official story.

We all know when we are being lied to. It is clear now that CBS knows it too. "Why are YOU here?", Schieffer asks the rookie sent to "take care of that interview" from the Administration.  Then listen to what he says about Susan Rice's "representation" of the Benghazi event for the Administration (play from 1:20 minute mark).

It goes without saying that avoidance is a mark of cover-ups and lies. It's about time the mainstream media recovered their sense of smell as journalist hounds and started tracking the truth of the story instead of following the fake trails put down by the fox in the White House to cover their tracks (including Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State too). They are onto him now, and you can almost hear the media hounds line up baying and chasing behind CBS's Bob Schieffer on Face the Nation.  The old "bloodhound" reporter now knows the fox led them astray and their official story did not pass the smell test.  Isn't this what the media is supposed to do, as a public service for us? This is the purpose of a free press after all.

Remember too that while the Administration tried to satisfy the media by releasing a torrent of emails regarding the Benghazi event, that none of the emails that were released were dated any earlier than 67 hours--almost 3 full days--after the attack and the official explanations.  It would be insulting to not call it a cover-up, and from what Obama promised would be "the most transparent administration ever".  Actually, they would like it to be transparent...but only as transparent as a ghost or vapor that might quickly disappear.  But it's too late for that now.

The Truth About Iran's Nuclear Weapons Program and Their "Threat to Israel"

Let us begin this subject and take an objective look at the issue of Iran developing nuclear technology, and allegedly nuclear weapons, and particularly its politicization by the propagandists, the media and also as a subject in the recent Republican Primary debates.  It will not be difficult to prove that this is an issue that has been pushed by powerful groups to the front of political controversy, incessantly, for over four years now.  Since it is now absolutely clear to unbias and rational minds that the alleged "WMD threat" in Iraq was a deliberate fraud, sold by the neoconservative Bush administration and Israeli Lobby, but also propagated, parroted and fanned by (the apparently very bias) American media (including all major networks and Washington Post in particular) it behooves Americans to fact-check what today is being forced upon us about Iran as if we do not have the duty or capacity to think critically about what we hear.

Let us resolve not to let the White House, media, or special political interest groups (under the auspices of "intelligence agencies") talk us into another $1 Trillion dollar war against only a propagandized and rhetorical threat, to fulfill a neoconservative agenda in the Middle East (for Israel), especially during a time of financial and government-fiscal crisis (which by the way also sparked the steady increase in oil and gas prices, which led to unbounded inflation of food and consumer prices too). 

CHALLENGING THE PROPAGANDA ABOUT IRAN IS POLITICALLY-INCORRECT

Wherever there is the power of political-correctness (a pretended majority opinion generated through media perceptions) there is a social tyranny.  Objective truth based upon hard evidence and sober thinking is the enemy of Political Correctness and also of the easily manipulated multitudes in our entertainment-driven and shallow society that wants the packaged intellectual food of McNews for its diet.  (Americans are not only obese physically but have a bad intellectual diet as well.  Read the ingredients of either before buying or swallowing!).

Suddenly the struggle to stop Iran is not about saving Israel from nuclear annihilation. After a decade of scare-mongering about the second coming of Nazi Germany, the Iran hawks are admitting that they have other reasons for wanting to take out Iran, and saving Israeli lives may not be one of them. Suddenly the neoconservatives have discovered the concept of truth-telling, although, no doubt, the shift will be ephemeral.

The shift in the rationale for war was kicked off this week when Danielle Pletka, head of the American Enterprise Institute's (AEI) foreign policy shop and one of the most prominent neoconservatives in Washington, explained what the current obsession with Iran's nuclear program is all about.

The biggest problem for the United States is not Iran getting a nuclear weapon and testing it, it's Iran getting a nuclear weapon and not using it. Because the second that they have one and they don't do anything bad, all of the naysayers are going to come back and say, "See, we told you Iran is a responsible power. We told you Iran wasn't getting nuclear weapons in order to use them immediately." ... And they will eventually define Iran with nuclear weapons as not a problem.

Hold on. The "biggest problem" with Iran getting a nuclear weapon is not that Iranians will use it but that they won't use it and that they might behave like a "responsible power"? But what about the hysteria about a second Holocaust? What about Prime Minister Netanyahu's assertion that this is 1938 and Hitler is on the march? What about all of these pronouncements that Iran must be prevented from developing a nuclear weapons because the apocalyptic mullahs would happily commit national suicide in order to destroy Israel? And what about AIPAC and its satellites, which produce one sanctions bill after another (all dutifully passed by Congress) because of the "existential threat" that Iran poses to Israel? Did Pletka lose her talking points?
Apparently not.

Pletka's "never mind" about the imminent danger of an Iranian bomb seems to be the new line from the bastion of neoconservativism.  

FANATICISM: Sports, Not Religion, Is the Real "Opiate of the People"

Professional sports, which includes College Sports--which is definitely for money and profit in the "Higher Education" world--in truth is a waste of valuable time.  Do people consider that sports coaches of universities are the most highly paid positions in State government?  (Note in the link that West Virginia pays more for sports than others in the Big East, even as a much poorer state!)  Is that not a dangerous fanaticism?  Should that not offend and disturb us as "taxpayers"?  Where is a "tea party" against that abuse of government spending within "higher education"?  Are sports coaches the instruments of justice or legislative representation, or executive authority?  Is it not shameful that they outstrip Governors and Justices in taxpayer renumeration--and without the consent of many outside the institution of "higher learning"?  And those who spend their emotions on sports teams and watch every game proudly call themselves "fanatics".    Now this only proves that it is politically correct and acceptable to be a sports fanatic, while at the same time, if anyone cares "too much" about political issues of government, or religious issues in particular, others hurl the epitaph "fanatic" as a term of derision, from which sports "fans" are immune, despite their candid admission. 

The media in particular is guilty of this irrational value process and for feeding the sports frenzy,  for profit, because sports news "sells newspapers" and boost radio and TV ratings.  That is why Hoppy Kercheval on state-wide talk radio will actually spend more time discussing any changes at WVU, even in the midst of important legislative or serious matters which most of the public is largely, and willingly ignorant of.  Such is the mark of not an intellectual society, but a hedonistic one. (Illegal drug use is in fact the same hedonism principle in its purest form of pleasure vs pain and mental escapism, and modern opiates such as Meth, are another clue this is true of society).  The truth is, if everyone were serious minded and lived in reality, instead of in virtual reality (movies, mass entertainment, fiction or "reality shows" on TV, etc), things could be for the better in government, social and intellectual thinking, and religious morality and rational sober living.

The following video, in an entertaining manner, shows how there is a social consensus which is irrational that permits one kind of fanaticism to drown out really the only important matters in life, where everyone's real problems exist.  Sports is indeed the Opiate pain-killer and distraction, then, which religion has been branded for irrationally.

The FBI Obstructs Justice: Uncovering the Anthrax Cover-Up

By laying all blame for the anthrax letters on the award-winning Ft. Detrick scientist Bruce Ivins it can only be said that the FBI is obstructing justice. In fact, they were pressured to do just that from the very start, from very high up in the chain of command. The FBI official story now, after seven years, is highly incredulous. For whoever was behind the anthrax letters, and its several very specific targets, did more to further the neoconservative propaganda for a "war on terrorism" against radical Islam, to justify war in Iraq and regime change in the middle east, and to coerce Congress into draconian anti-constitutional legislation than any other action, other than 9/11 itself. To suggest that Ivins did all this for monetary gain is contrary to Criminology 101 which seeks solid evidence for "motive, means, and opportunity".

First, lost in the haze is that the Bush administration (per this Daily News article below) pressured the FBI from the very start to pin the anthrax letters on militant Islamics, especially overseas--without any such evidence:

In the immediate aftermath of the 2001 anthrax attacks, White House officials repeatedly pressed FBI Director Robert Mueller to prove it was a second-wave assault by Al Qaeda, but investigators ruled that out, the Daily News has learned.

After the Oct. 5, 2001, death from anthrax exposure of Sun photo editor Robert Stevens, Mueller was "beaten up" during President Bush's morning intelligence briefings for not producing proof the killer spores were the handiwork of terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden, according to a former aide.

"They really wanted to blame somebody in the Middle East," the retired senior FBI official told The News.

On October 15, 2001, President Bush said, "There may be some possible link" to Bin Laden, adding, "I wouldn't put it past him." Vice President Cheney also said Bin Laden's henchmen were trained "how to deploy and use these kinds of substances, so you start to piece it all together."

Vital unresolved anthrax questions and ABC News

...If the now-deceased Ivins really was the culprit behind the attacks, then that means that the anthrax came from a U.S. Government lab, sent by a top U.S. Army scientist at Ft. Detrick. Without resort to any speculation or inferences at all, it is hard to overstate the significance of that fact. From the beginning, there was a clear intent on the part of the anthrax attacker to create a link between the anthrax attacks and both Islamic radicals and the 9/11 attacks. This was the letter sent to Brokaw:

In my view, and I've written about this several times and in great detail to no avail, the role played by ABC News in this episode is the single greatest, unresolved media scandal of this decade. News of Ivins' suicide, which means (presumably) that the anthrax attacks originated from Ft. Detrick, adds critical new facts and heightens how scandalous ABC News' conduct continues to be in this matter.

During the last week of October, 2001, ABC News, led by Brian Ross, continuously trumpeted the claim as their top news story that government tests conducted on the anthrax -- tests conducted at Ft. Detrick -- revealed that the anthrax sent to Daschele contained the chemical additive known as bentonite. ABC News, including Peter Jennings, repeatedly claimed that the presence of bentonite in the anthrax was compelling evidence that Iraq was responsible for the attacks, since -- as ABC variously claimed -- bentonite "is a trademark of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's biological weapons program" and "only one country, Iraq, has used bentonite to produce biological weapons."

Third, there is the Democracy Now podcast on anthrax, which includes an interview with Greenwald, and an anthrax researcher who personally new Ivins. These interviews also include sound bites of McCain linking the Anthrax letters to Iraq on the David Letterman Show in 2001, as well as Bush, both knowing full well (per FBI) that there in fact was no link to Iraq, or even "Islamic militants" inside or outside the US!

Finally, here is a dated article (when the FBI zeroed and harassed Hatfill with the same zeal as they did Ivins later) about another Ft. Detrick former scientist, who did have access, even motive (to blame Arabs), and an interesting profile. Dr. Zack for some reason is not a suspect while he fits the profile of the crime closer than Ivins. He is Jewish and a dual Israeli citizen, it happens, with a demonstrated hatred for Arabs (see how he persecuted his Egyptian co-worker and was fired for it), much like many of the neoconservatives behind the war on terrorism agenda that they wrote well before 9/11. There is sufficient prima facia evidence here to consider him a suspect whose behavior was both malicious and suspicious. Yet the FBI says now that Ivins is the ONLY suspect and they are convinced he would have been found guilty, contrary to a larger body of evidence and lack of witnesses.

It was easy to miss the few stories published in January 2002 about Lt. Col. Philip Zack, who, like Hatfill, also had access to a well-equipped laboratory with lax security. Zack, moreover, actually worked with military-grade anthrax at Fort Detrick.

Documents from the inquiry show that one unauthorized person who was observed entering the lab building at night was Langford's predecessor, Lt. Col. Philip Zack, who at the time no longer worked at Fort Detrick. A surveillance camera recorded Zack

Zack left Fort Detrick in December 1991, after a controversy over allegations of unprofessional behavior by Zack, Rippy, Brown and others who worked in the pathology division. They had formed a clique that was accused of harassing the Egyptian-born Assaad,who later sued the Army, claiming discrimination.

Assaad said he had believed the harassment was behind him until last October, until after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

He said that is when the FBI contacted him, saying someone had mailed an anonymous letter - a few days before the existence of anthrax-laced mail became known - naming Assaad as a potential bioterrorist. FBI agents decided the note was a hoax after interviewing Assaad.

No Convictions, Lack of Evidence on Alleged "Terrorism Plots"

Just a few news stories that are sure to be under-reported and that you will never hear of on local talk radio when talking about "Islamo fascists" and "terrorists that want to kill us", i.e. the propaganda that justifies wars and tyrannical "security" measures to increase surveillance, domestic spying, and things like REAL ID and the PATRIOT ACT. But you did hear about them when stories were splashed liberally that "terrorist plots" were thwarted in the U.S. and Canada from the MSM propaganda machine, that parrots neocon "terrorism experts" or Homeland Security sources.

1) why can't the U.S. spy agencies ($40 billion-plus in expenditures) not trace to its source, and

clipped from www.reuters.com Bin Laden to release new message: monitor WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is expected to release a new message within the next two days, the U.S.-based terrorism monitoring service SITE Institute said on Wednesday. The message is entitled, "The Response Will Be What You See, Not What You Hear," SITE said in a release. The message is likely to be posted by Thursday or Friday at the latest, SITE senior analyst Adam Raisman said. He based his judgment on past practice and announcement language describing the message's posting as "urgent," "shortly" and "Allah willing." He said the announcement did not carry the usual banner but rather was made in plain text. Based on recent practice, Raisman said he expects the upcoming message to include an audio track illustrated with an image. The message apparently is the first by bin Laden since November 29 when he urged European countries to end military participation with U.S. forces in the Afghan conflict.

West Virginia GOP Convention Update--Most Conservative Candidate Ousted

The following recent articles, and a democratic blog commentary, update the West Virginia Republican Convention still in progress, since it yielded no initial winner, which requires over 50 percent of the vote. Note that MSNBC below offered better coverage of Ron Paul, the first candidate speaker, than local radio or TV.

GOP ESTABLISHMENT AND MEDIA COLLUDE TO OUST RON PAUL

If you wanted to hear any excerpts of the speech from the the most principled conservative republican that raised the most money in West Virginia--Ron Paul--you could not hear him via local radio since West Virginia Radio Corporation, both in their reporting and state wide radio with Hoppy Kercheval, blacked him out. But it was covered live apparently via internet (see link below). (Do recall that John Raese, Chief Executive of WV Radio, ran against Robert C. Byrd in the Senate, and is tied to the state party establishment). Media bias and deliberate interventionism by deciding who is interviewed and recorded on their website is blatant and obvious, especially since interviewing Ron Paul always increases ratings (the basis for ad revenues). Fearing to alienate their Christian listeners they included Huckabee probably as a "Christian" alternative to Romney's Mormonism (while neither candidate pass the conservative tests of the republican party planks based upon their respective records). This was the extent of their "balanced" coverage. On WCHS Charleston radio's 58Live yesterday (a local station in the network covering the state's capital) even the "moderate" Rick Johnson only mentioned "three" candidates and deliberately did not mention Ron Paul as a candidate for which delegates could vote for despite that he was the first confirmed speaker. This is typical of that program's views (disclaimed in its daily introduction as a part of West Virginia Radio Corp.) usually expressed only by the neocon sycophant Mike Agnello. Though West Virginians have a right to the public airwaves, and it is in the public interest to have a well informed electorate, West Virginia Radio Corporation decided to apparently collude with the GOP establishment to push particular candidates and eliminate Paul. Note also that McCain is even excluded in their coverage (see link above).

It is entirely possible that the stratagy of the establishment was to consolidate behind Romney in the first round in order to oust Ron Paul, which they did, and then permit McCain into the picture in the final voting without Paul. This is how the party collusion, in tandem with West Virginia Radio, appears to be working. The evidence of this is in the Charleston Gazette which stated that Thompson and Giuliani supporters were moving toward McCain, which was not evidenced in this intial vote. The strategy to oust Paul as a priority is evident, and worked. The outcome is pending.

PLAYGROUND "DEMOCRACY" AT WORK--PUBLIC ELECTORATE DISENFRANCHISED

Complaints by the republican electorate yesterday were numerous on talk radio expressing the largely held belief that they were disenfranchised by the establishment. The state GOP claimed they ran numerous ads in newspapers and thousands of emails, but listeners said they heard nothing, and the newspapers ran stories that showed 1,100 delegate nominees were still needed with only 5 days left before the deadline. (The last minute rush to fill delegates refutes the argument of heavy or timely advertising. The fact is the state GOP wanted to save money, and control the outcome, for a very profitable convention for them). Interestingly, Chairman McKinney's favored candidate (now that Don Surber and Vic Sprouse have lost their favorites of Fred Thompson and Giuliani, respectively), Mitt Romney, appears to be positioned to win as the establishment consolidates its power in this "winner take all" convention, which usurps 18 delegates from the republican electorate, largely uninformed, and unpersuaded. (Horse trading and vote pushing is hardly persuasion, but playground "democracy" of "majority rule").

There is no doubt that the republican establishment, rather than the electorate, with the help of West Virginia Radio Corporation (which virtually controls state-wide radio coverage in audience listenership), deliberately intervened and colluded to control the outcome to THEIR desire, sacrificing a truly informed general public in the process.

LA Times: Ron Paul Beats Fred and Rudy--Again!

Do recall that the Charleston Daily Mail conducted a poll for republican Presidential elections back in late spring, online, where they also listed Fred Thompson as a candidate, even though he had not declared, and excluded Ron Paul. The Daily Mail should now have their hat in hand.

As for basing everything on national polls, that has now proven erroneous since Iowa, New Hampshire, and Michigan primaries. Don Surber's and Vic Sprouse's candidates, Thompson and Giuliani, respectively, are not doing as well as Ron Paul whom everyone wrote off as not standing a chance. In case you missed it, here are the Michigan results again:

MICHIGAN PRIMARY: RESULTS

Mitt Romney: 39%

John McCain: 30%

Mike Huckabee: 16%

Ron Paul: 6%

Fred Thompson: 4%

Rudy Giuliani: 3%

Fred Thompson was soundly defeated (almost last with 3 percent) by republican voters in New Hampshire, while Paul and Giuliani about tied.

Could it be that the republican establishment is completely out of touch with the electorate? Could it be that the party has pushed top down on issues so long, that they have failed to hear what traditional conservatives, whom the neoconservatives usurped, are complaining about? Yes, it could very well be, and it is not a surprise to many of us, the disenfranchised.

BOTH parties have trampled the Constitution, which is precisely what partisan politics always does to the
law--bending, twisting, and circumventing it for their own pleasure. This is what Americans are angry about, and want to recover the legitimate and limited government that was originally established. The republican party is as self-blinded as the democrats when it comes to seeing reality beyond their establishment orientation. Post-9/11 government by the neoconservatives in particular made it clear just what kind of new tyranny is being erected under the guise of "defending freedom", and provoked traditional conservatives, as well as classic liberal and libertarians, to react strongly and wield the Constitution against it.

America's new government needs more than just a makeover or professed "change". What is required now is a revolution, actually a counter-revolution to restore its original form and restraints, both the States and people respectively. Ron Paul is the only real candidate of substantive "change", and change for the better. Cal Thomas said the same recently:

"Mike Huckabee... sounds like a big government Republican. The only one behaving like a real Republican is Ron Paul, who actually wants to cut spending and get government out of our lives. He won't win the nomination because too many Republican are into handouts and restribution, just like Democrats.

"It's a sad political season if you are a conservative... Maybe a miracle will happen and Republicans will start behaving like Republicans again."

Ron Paul thumped two reputed Republican heavyweights in the Michigan primary -- former Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Giuliani, you may recall if you can remember anything as distant as last summer, was the longtime GOP national front-runner in polls. But guess what? Ron Paul, the 72-year-old Texas congressman and ob-gyn who delivers babies and a strict view of the Constitution, beat Giuliani in Michigan. And beat him good. Paul even beat Thompson this time, the real consistent conservative who was supposed to be the next Ronald Reagan until he actually announced his campaign in September. Richard Viguerie, the noted conservative author, announced he's launching a website to support Paul. Viguerie called Paul "truly a principled conservative in the grand tradition of Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan."

Major Vote Fraud in NH Documented--Hillary Clinton's "Sexism" Trick

Obama and Ron Paul were projected in several (non-media sponsored) polls to do much better. It is possible for one or two polling companies to be wrong, but not all seven or eight. Rush Limbaugh and another pundit on 58Live with Agnello today basically lied, saying the "media" was at a loss to explain how THEY were wrong. What? The media did NOT conduct those pre-election polls. Rather Zogby, Rasmussen, and several others did, and they were right on the mark in Iowa.

One campaign trick should be admitted, the one Hillary Clinton pulled. There is circumstantial evidence that the men who yelled "Iron My Shirts", also printed clearly on a sign during a rally, was a planted provocateur, in order for Clinton to make the "sexism is alive and well" claim, and thus rally WOMEN to vote for her AT THE LAST MINUTE, thus overcoming the earlier polls potentially--or such would be their claim and explanation. (Yes, Hillary used sexism herself, to gain votes). See the video here, and note how Hillary calls "turn up the lights"--which then highlights the sign for the video! FOX Loses Credibility as New Hampshire GOP Drops Debate Sponsorship for Snubbing Ron Paul

CNN interviews Ron Paul and Fox is made to look like the neocon shills they are. There was no valid justification for excluding him from a FOX televised debate in New Hampshire and the biggest rebuke came from the more honorable state GOP party which immediately dropped sponsorship for their media interventionism and gross bias. FOX refused to report, again, or for their viewers to decide.

This is also one of the most powerful and brief position statement, contrasted with Romney and Huckabee, on taxes, including justification for abolishing the income tax! Why would republicans be against this, unless they do not value freedom and love big government?

So much for "free and open" elections in America. FOX tampers with elections again, banning Paul, the only traditional republican conservative, for limited government, lower taxes, and only wars for self-defense candidate. This is not media "reporting", but media "deciding" for you, and in the early and very close New Hampshire race, where 40 percent of NH voters are independents.

Should Ron Paul lose weight so there will be room for him? They could save even more space if they exchanged small Paul for fat Fred (sorry Senator Thompson, I couldn't resist the alliteration). It's a silly excuse, and for daring to be so lame Fox News needs to continue to feel . . .

* Fred Thompson is expected to drop out of the race tomorrow. Now there's room for Ron!

* Zogby reports that Ron Paul is now in double digits in Iowa. He's at 10%, and tied with the media's favorite candidate, John McCain. Poll numbers will no longer work as an excuse to exclude the small government message.

Ron Paul supporters are dumping the stock, causing the price to plummet, and the Ron Paul Army is putting pressure on Fox News advertisers to drop their ads on the network.
