"According to the 26-page [redacted] transcript, a computer hard drive seized during Mohammed's capture contained photographs of the 19 hijackers [which are proven false identities by BBC and LA Times reports] and a paper listing the pilot license fees for Mohammed Atta. Atta, the alleged ringleader of the attacks, flew one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center."

"I was responsible for the 9/11 operation from A to Z," Mohammed said in a statement read [and "redacted" per below] during the session, which was held last Saturday.......the extraordinary ["redacted'] transcript connects Mohammed to dozens of the worst terror plots attempted or carried out in the last 15 years—and to others that have not occurred. All told, thousands have died in operations he directed.
His words [without evidence] draw al-Qaida closer to plots of the early 1990s than the group has previously been connected to, including the 1993 World Trade Center truck bombing [an unsolved mystery until now?].

Now with this breaking news today, the government would have you believe "there is no doubt that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is the "Mastermind of 9/11" and has confessed it before a military hearing".
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Reporters will be barred from hearings that begin Friday in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for the 14 terror suspects who were transferred last year from secret CIA prisons, officials said Tuesday....No word of the hearings will be made public until the government releases a transcript of the proceedings, edited to remove material deemed damaging to national security, he said.
News coverage of previous combatant status review tribunals -- of which there were more than 550 between July 2004 and March 2005 -- was not prohibited, although there were restrictions on some information.
Whitman said the Pentagon is planning to withhold the name of the detainee from the edited hearing transcript, although that will be reconsidered.
Whitman said the hearings for the 14 formerly held in CIA prisons will be closed to the news media in order to protect national security interests that could be compromised by statements made by the detainees.
"Because of the nature of their capture, the fact that they are high-value detainees and based on the information that they possess and are likely to present in a combatant status review tribunal ... we're going to need an opportunity to redact [i.e. edit or revise] things for security purposes before providing that in a public forum," Whitman said.
He appeared to be referring to the fact that the 14 were held for an undisclosed period in a secret CIA prison network that Bush acknowledged for the first time last September 6 [now known as the illegal CIA international "rendition" torture system].
Such redacted, revised, edited, and secretly obtained "confessions", without any eyewitnesses either to the detainees or to their testimony, all done in entire secrecy, are impossible to verify, trace, or examine. What the government is doing is asking the press and American public for BLIND BELIEF of whatever they present. That this same government has consistently lied to the public since 9/11, and including about 9/11, is beyond question.
Now torture is a means of drawing many false "confessions" that many believe to be only consistent with what the torturer wants to hear, in order to stop the torture or gain release, and therefore not credible.
Forgive us for questioning the secret government's allegations, the same government who "fixed the intelligence around the policy" to go to war, based upon "there is no doubt" allegations and "uranium from Nigeria", and pretended testimonies made without full or credible disclosure. Forgive us for questioning and doubting while this man has such a confusing history through credible news sources, and from various government officials. Forgive us for doubting the same government that produced the 9/11 Commission Report and anti-constitutional legislation like the PATRIOT ACT and REAL ID all on the fear-mongering of terrorism and a 9/11 story that does not hold up to evidence. Forgive us for not believing a government that has more secrecy than openness, and that due to the Executive branch, that has established an Office of Special Plans that by-passes the Pentagon channels and CIA, and follows a blueprint for a "new middle east" straight from a neoconservative plan for PAX AMERICANA drawn up before 9/11 itself, which desired to go to launch a global war, only awaiting a "catalyzing event...like a new Pearl Harbor".
The special, secretive, and unprecedented rules for these military hearings, from which this "confession" was drawn, all smack more of craft than of a credulity the public could reasonably swallow whole without choking.

"...an Arab woman and a child were taken to an ISI safe house, where they identified the Shaikh Mohammed's body as their husband and father. The body was kept in a private NGO mortuary for 20 days before being buried, under the surveillance of the FBI, in a graveyard in the central district of Karachi....The widow subsequently underwent exhaustive interrogation in the custody of FBI officials, during which she revealed details of people who visited her husband, and of his other contacts and plans. News of the death of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed was intentionally suppressed so that officials could play on the power of his name to follow up leads and contacts."
New York Times, 2 March 2003:
"Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, suspected of planning the Sept. 11 attacks on New York and Washington and one of the F.B.I.'s most wanted terrorists, was detained by Pakistani authorities this morning and is now in American custody..."
And this article, trumpets for the first time that--
"Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is one of Osama bin Laden's most senior and significant lieutenants, a key Al Qaeda planner and the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks," said the statement, issued by Ari Fleischer.
Now that is a very big "and", for up til then it was Usama blamed for 9/11.
Question: What is the evidence that U.S. officials had that Shaikh Mohammed was the "mastermind of 9/11?" What did they base this "there is no doubt" assertion on? If they knew nothing about 9/11 coming, how did they conclude it was this man who was its mastermind--and why not (the elusive, missing, "wanted dead or alive") Usama bin Laden?

Pakistan's interior minister denied reports on Sunday that suspected September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had been handed over to the United States and said he was still in Pakistan.
Here we have Pakistan's interior minister denying what the American Press printed the same day.
3. Finally, note that no details were given about the Sept. 11th plot he was said to have confessed to, which begs the question: Just how was 9/11 financed and how and who were the men who carried it out? Let us hear some details of this remarkable confession--which apparently comes 4 years after his capture! Why should not there be a press conference to finally lay bare the entire 9/11 plot, how it was carried out, how they knew there were simultaneous war games going on that very same day and time (remarkable intelligence these terrorists had, was it not?), how they were able to crash a plane into the Pentagon without leaving wreckage, how they fooled the FAA and Air Force, how they blind sided the most sophisticated and costly intelligence and military power in the world, and, above all, how did the manage to board aircraft without being listed on the flight manifests, and how they overcame entire flight crews with "plastic knives" and "boxcutters"--the world would like to know!! Oh, and how did they know they could hit both towers, with 2 planes, without jet aircraft experience (something many pilots could not do), with "military precision", trained only on 'simulators" and "Cessna's" (and not doing very well according to trainers either), and how did they know the towers would collapse (being built to withstand such), since no fires had in history ever destroyed steel frame buildings--buildings which fell at almost the speed of gravity, which only controlled demolition could have produced!
Clearly, the 9/11 Commission could revise and publish their (phony) official report (that does not hold water) based upon the alleged "confession" of this alleged "mastermind of 9/11", for the benefit of the government and all the people. It would be a best-seller! But this would be too logical of an outcome to expect "full closure" on 9/11, and will never happen, for the confession as well as the identify of the man are without credibility, and have all the marks of propaganda too commonly fabricated by Bush government.
CONCLUSION:
As long as the U.S. conducts hearings in absolute secrecy, editing and withholding names from transcripts, upon a person that has had no photographs released to the media except the same one trotted out years ago, a person whose death was reported in the Asian Times in 2002, and that involving the FBI's direct involvement, whose custody to America was refuted by Pakistani officials (and from a Pakistani ISI who did wire money to Mohammad Atta), whose "confession" only suspiciously comes 4 whole years after his alleged "capture" (while being silent the entire time), and the said person who has held within the CIA torture "rendition" system (which could make anyone say anything), and that the "official story" of 9/11 can be weighed in the balance as "false" given contradictory evidence, or in the absence of evidence produced---then we must hold this present story as suspicious as statement like "there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction"--because we say so!
The Bush administration would gain, in this propaganda, (1) a substitute for the capture of the (elusive and dead) Usama bin Laden, which has haunted them since no progress was made since 9/11; (2) the assertion that Al Qaeda exists, proven by capture of its alleged leaders; (3) a "confession" that appears to verify the official story, easily contradicted and attacked by "conspiracy theories" in alternative media, which has growing acceptance by the American public; and finally (4) justification for their secret CIA torture and "rendition" program, which they will claim produced these results.
