Another Israeli Spy in the U.S., Information on Nuclear Weaponry Involved

NJ man’s arrest carries echoes of Pollard scandal

Justice Dept. charges retiree with handing documents to Israel

Undated photo of Ben-Ami Kadish. Photo courtesy NJJN.

The arrest this week of a retired Monroe man on charges of transmitting classified information to Israel two decades ago shows how the Jonathan Pollard spy case continues to haunt the U.S.-Israel relationship.

Ben-Ami Kadish, a former U.S. Army engineer, was scheduled to appear Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan. He is facing four counts of conspiracy to share classified information with Israel.

From 1979 to 1985, Kadish allegedly “borrowed” documents from the library of the Picatinny Arsenal Army facility in Dover, NJ, where he was employed and shared them with the science affairs consul at the Israeli consulate in New York.

The Justice Department says the documents included information on nuclear weaponry and plans for upgrading the F-15 combat aircraft.
30 to 100 documents
Kadish allegedly denied having been in touch with Yagur
That alleged lie could prove critical

This is now about a month old, but bears posting since it was mentioned recently on 58 Live talk radio in passing by Rick Johnson in an interview about 9/11, Israel, and the Iraq war. Note that it "included information on nuclear weaponry" in the arrest of Ben-Ami Kadish, a Jewish American who holds dual citizenry to Israel as well. Now isn't this the same type of information we are constantly told "could get into the hands of terrorists"?.

This American's loyalty was obviously to Israel (read the story), not the U.S.. Many of the neoconservatives are Jewish dual-citizens and radical Zionists similarly, which should put the subject of dual citizenship (American and Israeli) squarely on the table as far as trustworthiness when it comes to officials in their acting capacities within U.S. government, irregardless of political party or administration. It was Netanyahu who recently (see article below) stated publicly, again, that 9/11 and the Iraq War were good in that they benefited Israel. For those who consider such talk as "anti-semitic", consider the article of Patrick Buchanan (an insider conservative who has served republican presidents) "Who's War?", and his response to the same libel that is used to dismiss legitimate criticism about the neoconservatives:
Indeed, it is the charge of “anti-Semitism” itself that is toxic. For this venerable slander is designed to nullify public discourse by smearing and intimidating foes and censoring and blacklisting them and any who would publish them. Neocons say we attack them because they are Jewish. We do not. We attack them because their warmongering threatens our country, even as it finds a reliable echo in Ariel Sharon.

This spying is treason! It was not that long ago that we heard about Larry Franklin, haunting the neoconservatives' Office of Special Plans (created to circumvent CIA and other intelligence to justify war), whom the FBI indicted and convicted. An article "Israeli Spying: The Mother of all Scandals", summarized his case this way:

Two years into an investigation of AIPAC’s possible role as a spy front for Israel, Larry Franklin, a mid-level Pentagon Analyst is observed by the FBI giving classified information to two officials of AIPAC suspected of being Israeli spies. AIPAC hires lawyer Nathan Lewin to handle their legal defense, the same lawyer who defended suspected Israeli spy Stephen Bryen in 1978.

Larry Franklin worked in the Pentagon Office of Special Plans, run by Richard Perle, at the time Perle (who was caught giving classified information to Israel back in 1970) was insisting that Iraq was crawling with weapons of mass destruction requiring the United States to invade and conquer Iraq.

That same article documents the long train of Israeli spy activity in the U.S.:

Pollard is hardly the only Israeli spy operating in the United States. He just had the misfortune to get caught. Here are just a few examples of the Israeli spy operations that have been detected.

1947. Information collected by the ADL in its spy operations on US citizens is used by the House Select Committee on Unamerican Activities. Subcommittee Chair Clare Hoffman dismisses the ADL’s reports on suspected communists as “hearsay."

1950 John Davitt, former chief of the Justice Department's internal security section notes that the Israeli intelligence service is the second most active in the United States after the Soviets.

1954 A hidden microphone planted by the Israelis is discovered in the Office of the US Ambassador in Tel Aviv.

1956 Telephone taps are found connected to two telephones in the residence of the US military attaché in Tel Aviv.

1954 "The Lavon Affair". Israeli agents recruit Egyptian citizens of Jewish descent to bomb Western targets in Egypt, and plant evidence to frame Arabs, in an apparent attempt to upset US-Egyptian relations. Israeli defense minister Pinchas Lavon is eventually removed from office, though many think real responsibility lay with David Ben-Gurion.

1965 Israel apparently illegally obtains enriched uranium from NUMEC Corporation. (Washington Post, 6/5/86, Charles R. Babcock, "US an Intelligence Target of the Israelis, Officials Say.")

1967 Israel attacks the USS Liberty, an intelligence gathering vessel flying a US flag, killing 34 crew members. See "Assault on the Liberty," by James M. Ennes, Jr. (Random House). In 2004, Captain Ward Boston, Senior Legal Counsel for the Navy’s Court of Inquiry into the attack swears under oath that President Lyndon Johnson ordered the investigation to conclude accident, even though the evidence indicates the attack was deliberate. Given the use by Israel of unmarked boats and planes, and the machine-gunning of USS Liberty’s lifeboats, the most likely explanation is that USS Liberty was to be sunk with all hands, with evidence left to frame Egypt for the sinking. This would have dragged the US into the war on Israel’s side.

1970 While working for Senator Henry “Scoop” Jackson, Richard Perle is caught by the FBI giving classified information to Israel. Nothing is done.

1978, Stephen Bryen, then a Senate Foreign Relations Committee staffer, is overheard in a DC hotel offering confidential documents to top Israeli military officials. Bryen obtains a lawyer, Nathan Lewin, and the case heads for the grand jury, but is mysteriously dropped. Bryen later goes to work for Richard Perle.

1979 Shin Beth [the Israeli internal security agency] tries to penetrate the US Consulate General in Jerusalem through a “Honey Trap”, using a clerical employee who was having an affair with a Jerusalem girl.

1985 The New York Times reports the FBI is aware of at least a dozen incidents in which American officials transferred classified information to the Israelis, quoting [former Assistant Director of the F.B.I.] Mr. [Raymond] Wannal. The Justice Department does not prosecute.

1985 Richard Smyth, the owner of MILCO, is indicted on charges of smuggling nuclear timing devices to Israel (Washington Post, 10/31/86).

1987 April 24 Wall Street Journal headline: "Role of Israel in Iran-Contra Scandal Won't be Explored in Detail by Panels"

1992 The Wall Street Journal reports that Israeli agents apparently tried to steal Recon Optical Inc's top-secret airborne spy-camera system.

1992 Stephen Bryen, caught offering confidential documents to Israel in 1978, is serving on board of the pro-Israeli Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs while continuing as a paid consultant -- with security clearance -- on exports of sensitive US technology.

1992 "The Samson Option," by Seymour M. Hersh reports, “Illicitly obtained intelligence was flying so voluminously from LAKAM into Israeli intelligence that a special code name, JUMBO, was added to the security markings already on the documents. There were strict orders, Ari Ben-Menashe recalled: "Anything marked JUMBO was not supposed to be discussed with your American counterparts."

1993. The ADL is caught operating a massive spying operation on critics of Israel, Arab-Americans, the San Francisco Labor Council, ILWU Local 10, Oakland Educational Association, NAACP, Irish Northern Aid, International Indian Treaty Council, the Asian Law Caucus and the San Francisco police. Data collected was sent to Israel and in some cases to South Africa. Pressure from Jewish organizations forces the city to drop the criminal case, but the ADL settles a civil lawsuit for an undisclosed sum of cash.

1995 The Defense Investigative Service circulates a memo warning US military contractors that "Israel aggressively collects [US] military and industrial technology." The report stated that Israel obtains information using "ethnic targeting, financial aggrandizement, and identification and exploitation of individual frailties" of US citizens.

1996 A General Accounting Office report "Defense Industrial Security: Weaknesses in US Security Arrangements With Foreign-Owned Defense Contractors" found that according to intelligence sources "Country A" (identified by intelligence sources as Israel, Washington Times, 2/22/96) "conducts the most aggressive espionage operation against the United States of any US ally." The Jerusalem Post (8/30/96) quoted the report, "Classified military information and sensitive military technologies are high-priority targets for the intelligence agencies of this country." The report described "An espionage operation run by the intelligence organization responsible for collecting scientific and technologic information for [Israel] paid a US government employee to obtain US classified military intelligence documents." The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs (Shawn L. Twing, April 1996) noted that this was "a reference to the 1985 arrest of Jonathan Pollard, a civilian US naval intelligence analyst who provided Israel's LAKAM [Office of Special Tasks] espionage agency an estimated 800,000 pages of classified US intelligence information."

The GAO report also noted that "Several citizens of [Israel] were caught in the United States stealing sensitive technology used in manufacturing artillery gun tubes."

1996 An Office of Naval Intelligence document, "Worldwide Challenges to Naval Strike Warfare" reported that "US technology has been acquired [by China] through Israel in the form of the Lavi fighter and possibly SAM [surface-to-air] missile technology." Jane's Defense Weekly (2/28/96) noted that "until now, the intelligence community has not openly confirmed the transfer of US technology [via Israel] to China." The report noted that this "represents a dramatic step forward for Chinese military aviation." (Flight International, 3/13/96)

1997 An Army mechanical engineer, David A. Tenenbaum, "inadvertently" gives classified military information on missile systems and armored vehicles to Israeli officials (New York Times, 2/20/97).

1997 The Washington Post reports US intelligence has intercepted a conversation in which two Israeli officials had discussed the possibility of getting a confidential letter that then-Secretary of State Warren Christopher had written to Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat. One of the Israelis, identified only as “Dov”, had commented that they may get the letter from "Mega”, the code name for Israel’s top agent inside the United States.

1997 US ambassador to Israel, Martin Indyk, complains privately to the Israeli government about heavy-handed surveillance by Israeli intelligence agents.

1997 Israeli agents place a tap on Monica Lewinsky’s phone at the Watergate and record phone sex sessions between her and President Bill Clinton. The Ken Starr report confirms that Clinton warned Lewinsky their conversations were being taped and ended the affair. At the same time, the FBI’s hunt for “Mega” is called off.

2001 It is discovered that US drug agents’ communications have been penetrated. Suspicion falls on two companies, AMDOCS and Comverse Infosys, both owned by Israelis. AMDOCS generates billing data for most US phone companies and is able to provide detailed logs of who is talking to whom. Comverse Infosys builds the tapping equipment used by law enforcement to eavesdrop on all American telephone calls, but suspicion forms that Comverse, which gets half of its research and development budget from the Israeli government, has built a back door into the system that is being exploited by Israeli intelligence and that the information gleaned on US drug interdiction efforts is finding its way to drug smugglers. The investigation by the FBI leads to the exposure of the largest foreign spy ring ever uncovered inside the United States, operated by Israel. Half of the suspected spies have been arrested when 9-11 happens. On 9-11, 5 Israelis are arrested for dancing and cheering while the World Trade Towers collapse. Supposedly employed by Urban Moving Systems, the Israelis are caught with multiple passports and a lot of cash. Two of them are later revealed to be Mossad. As witness reports track the activity of the Israelis, it emerges that they were seen at Liberty Park at the time of the first impact, suggesting a foreknowledge of what was to come. The Israelis are interrogated, and then eventually sent back to Israel. The owner of the moving company used as a cover by the Mossad agents abandons his business and flees to Israel. The United States Government then classifies all of the evidence related to the Israeli agents and their connections to 9-11. All of this is reported to the public via a four part story on Fox News by Carl Cameron. Pressure from Jewish groups, primarily AIPAC, forces Fox News to remove the story from their website. Two hours prior to the 9-11 attacks, Odigo, an Israeli company with offices just a few blocks from the World Trade Towers, receives an advance warning via the internet. The manager of the New York Office provides the FBI with the IP address of the sender of the message, but the FBI does not follow up.

2001 The FBI is investigating 5 Israeli moving companies as possible fronts for Israeli intelligence.

2001 JDL’s Irv Rubin arrested for planning to bomb a US Congressman. He dies before he can be brought to trial.

2002 The DEA issues a report that Israeli spies, posing as art students, have been trying to penetrate US Government offices.

2002 police near the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station in southern Washington State stop a suspicious truck and detain two Israelis, one of whom is illegally in the United States. The two men were driving at high speed in a Ryder rental truck, which they claimed had been used to "deliver furniture." The next day, police discovered traces of TNT and RDX military-grade plastic explosives inside the passenger cabin and on the steering wheel of the vehicle. The FBI then announces that the tests that showed explosives were “false positived” by cigarette smoke, a claim test experts say is ridiculous. Based on an alibi provided by a woman, the case is closed and the Israelis are handed over to INS to be sent back to Israel. One week later, the woman who provided the alibi vanishes.

2003 The Police Chief of Cloudcroft stops a truck speeding through a school zone. The drivers turn out to be Israelis with expired passports. Claiming to be movers, the truck contains junk furniture and several boxes. The Israelis are handed over to immigration. The contents of the boxers are not revealed to the public.

2003 Israel deploys assassination squads into other countries, including the United States. The US Government does not protest.

2004 Police near the Nuclear Fuel Services plant in Tennessee stop a truck after a three mile chase, during which the driver throws a bottle containing a strange liquid from the cab. The drivers turn out to be Israelis using fake Ids. The FBI refuses to investigate and the Israelis are released.

2004 Two Israelis try to enter Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, home to eight Trident submarines. The truck tests positive for explosives.

So does this FOX News special report, involving the arrest of Israeli spies after 9/11, which most Americans did not see:

Syria's Nuclear Program Intel Faked; Welcome to Neocon Studios

Welcome to Neocon Studios: Another production from those who brought you the Iraq War. The editor's notes at start set the stage as the author traces it through.

Allegedly US and Israel struck Syria with war planes a while back claiming it was a nuclear weapons program targeted and tied to North Korea. The intelligence, compiled by none other than Israel, has now been released. The evidence just happens to be "fixed around the policy" to go to war, just like Iraq, and before Bush's term is out.

Syria has denied the report here: Syrian envoy says CIA fabricated evidence. More on the official intelligence presentation here.

The propaganda coming from Israel and the neoconservative administration should be all too familiar and therefore considered with a skeptic's eye:

"There is no doubt that Saddam has amassed weapons of mass destruction...."

--Vice Pres. Dick Cheney, member Project for New American Century

The "Syrian Reactor Show" - a Fake?

Global Research Editor's Note

The following article, which includes photographic material, focuses on the inconsistencies regarding an alleged US "document" about Syria's nuclear efforts. The format and style bears a canny resemblance to that presented to the UN Security Council in February 2003, regarding Iraq alleged weapons of mass destruction. The Powell presentation was based on fake material and fabricated intelligence.

Washington intends to use the Syria document to fabricate a WMD threat emanating from Syria.

The presentation is an elaborate information operation. If one sees it only once and is not really concentrated it is even convincing. But if you analyze it you will find that it jumps in time and space and adds stuff in animations and graphics that are not supported in the photographed evidence.

this isn't only a photograph. The "windows" and lines on the facade are much finer than other details of the quite blurry picture.

U.S. Ship Shoots at Iranian, Oil Price Leaps--War Policy Drives Oil Prices, not OPEC

This financial clip below marks the real reason behind gas at $3.69/gallon vs. $1.25/gallon when Bush entered office. It's not supply and demand, nor OPEC squeezing us. It is neocon (both U.S. and Israel) war-mongering in the Middle East which makes the future's traders bid up the price of oil based upon war fears alone!

That war fears drive oil prices is well documented, even by the most bias sources, like this one:
...the actual oil price patterns observed in the cases previously examined (the First Gulf War, 1990-91; the Taiwan Strait Crisis, 1996; Operation Desert Strike, 1996; Operation Desert Fox, 1998; the Libyan Operations, of 1986; the Gulf Shipping Crisis, 1987; and the Iraq-Kuwait border confrontation of October 1994) followed a fairly similar pattern. Prior to a crisis, oil futures market curves generally slope upward.
Also this from Bloomberg, as to why the financial "betters" (profit-mongers who contribute to future's inflation) on oil have been wagering it will rise to $125 per barrel, at your expense:
Tensions between Turkey and Iraq over Kurdish militants as well as over Iran's nuclear program have also helped drive oil prices higher.

Instead we hear nonsense and propaganda on talk radio (Listen here for a clip on oil and gas prices with Mike Agnello on 58 Live) that "OPEC is mostly our enemies" in the Middle East (Saudis are best friends with Bush s and D.C., and U.A.E. is as well), that our limiting supply. Not true, not true at all.

Secondly, OPEC's share of world crude production is now less than 30 percent. Iraq, an OPEC country, is producing below historical levels, not because of OPEC, but because the U.S. invaded it, without just cause.

Third, OPEC's production has been "holding" steady, not decreasing (per a bias Wall Street report), while our previous article below shows that global demand has grown only 2 percent, while U.S. demand has decreased. Therefore, the oil prices cannot be driven due to a decline or "pinch" in supply by OPEC. Recall again, that Iraq's production has declined due to U.S. invasion.

The evidence is clear, it is neocon war-mongering, principally, that began with the Bush administration--an administration uniquely stacked with oil executives--that is driving oil prices. Now Americans are paying for the economic cost of war at the pumps which is setting inflationary records on other consumer goods as well. War-mongering, against Iran, like both Democrats and Neo-republicans have been doing, since a year ago, has contributed to this increase of another dollar per gallon! Until the war policy changes, whether a Democrat or Neo-republican is in the White House, it is now forecast to double in the next four years, and prices will be to $4 per gallon on gas this summer!

SOLUTION: CHANGE THE WAR POLICY AND OIL PRICES WILL DROP.

Oil jumps over $3 after report on U.S. shot toward Iran boat
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures jumped more than $3 in mid-morning trading Friday after news reports that U.S. military force fired at an Iranian boat. A ship contracted by the U.S Military Sealift Command fired at least one shot toward an Iranian boat, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed U.S. defense official. More details were not yet available. Crude-oil for June delivery gained $3.04, or 2.6%, to $119.10 on the New York Mercantile Exchange after the news. Crude was trading higher before the report but was up less than $3. End of Story

No Convictions, Lack of Evidence on Alleged "Terrorism Plots"

Just a few news stories that are sure to be under-reported and that you will never hear of on local talk radio when talking about "Islamo fascists" and "terrorists that want to kill us", i.e. the propaganda that justifies wars and tyrannical "security" measures to increase surveillance, domestic spying, and things like REAL ID and the PATRIOT ACT. But you did hear about them when stories were splashed liberally that "terrorist plots" were thwarted in the U.S. and Canada from the MSM propaganda machine, that parrots neocon "terrorism experts" or Homeland Security sources.

These stories (collected by CLG's newsfeed) go to show that, like the words "there is no doubt that Saddam has WMD", that allegation and accusation by the government, and the MSM, does not equal truth. The claims of "terrorist threats" are Overblown, irrationally based, paranoid-producing, and propaganda lies (planted FBI agents have been provocateurs in many cases), that cannot hold up under the basic laws of evidence and jurisprudence. The only convictions ever obtained have been through torture and "redacted" testimony. (See our article on the "convicted mastermind of 9/11" here).

Soon you will hear about "terrorist threats" for the summer, or sensational drills or the "inevitable attack on D.C." scenarios (that increase advertising ratings too), especially before elections, so this should be recalled, and their credibility immediately questioned:

'Participants spent much of their time in a local doughnut shop.' The incredible shrinking terror case 16 Apr 2008 Once labelled Canada's first homegrown Islamist terror plot, the case of the so-called Toronto 18 is quietly melting away. With yesterday's decision to stay charges against four more of those that it had once labelled dangerous terrorists, the federal government is now admitting that it never had a serious case against almost half of the men and youths charged two years ago... The alleged terror training camp turned out to be a hapless adventure in the rain, one where participants spent much of their time in a local doughnut shop and where the ammunition for target practice was apparently provided by one of two paid RCMP informers.

Straight out of Kafka: Federal prosecutors to seek third trial in Sears Tower terror case 23 Apr 2008 Federal prosecutors said at a hearing Wednesday that they would press for a third terrorism prosecution of six men charged with conspiring to bomb the Sears Tower in Chicago and the FBI headquarters in Miami after two previous prosecutions ended in mistrials.

So-called terror zealot vindicated
--Just 11 accused remain in 'Toronto 18' case

16 Apr 2008 Nearly two years ago, when police busted an alleged homegrown terror cell, Qayyum Abdul Jamal was portrayed as the firebrand ringleader seeking recruits for jihad. Today, he says, he hopes to piece together a reputation left in tatters after being accused of belonging to the so-called Toronto 18, a group of men and teens who allegedly plotted to bomb sites around Toronto. And he hopes to repair a life changed forever when he spent 17 months in jail, 13 of them in solitary confinement [edit: to coerce a "confession"].

Mistrial declared again in U.S. terrorism case

16 Apr 2008 A U.S. judge declared a mistrial on Wednesday for six men accused of joining forces with al Qaeda [al-CIAduh] to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago as part of an Islamic jihad against the United States. It was the second mistrial declared by U.S. District Court Judge Joan Lenard in the case involving the men from Miami's impoverished Liberty City neighborhood.

No signs of Qaeda at U.S.-Mexican border: official

11 Apr 2008 Authorities have seen no signs [ed. evidence] of al Qaeda [al-CIAduh] trying to insert operatives into the United States from Mexico, but the militant group has considered doing so, a U.S. intelligence official said on Friday.

High Gas Prices: China's Demand or War Policy?

OIL CONSUMPTION, U.S. vs. CHINA--THE MODEST GROWTH OF GLOBAL DEMAND

Is this source of information impartial enough? This CIA chart below, recording consumption by country, refutes the talk radio propaganda (Listen here: locally from Mike Agnello on 58 Live in Charleston, and ignorant callers) that China's demand is the cause of increased gas prices. China, despite its population, consumes about 1/3 of what the U.S. does. Bear in mind also the European Union is not a sovereign country, so if it is ignored (to compare apples with apples), it makes clear just who dominates global oil consumption, with no one else even close. From this source even the propagandists must confess that the U.S. consumes over 25% of the entire global demand!

In sources recently published through 2007, the growth of China's consumption is of course confirmed, but concludes that, globally, Oil Consumption Continues Slow Growth:

Global demand for oil reached 85.7 million barrels per day in 2007, a modest 1-percent increase over the 84.9 million barrels consumed daily in 2006.1 (See Figure 1.) This marked the third straight year in which oil demand grew at an annual rate of less than 2 percent.2 Despite the slow growth in demand, oil prices rose from just above $50 in January to near $100 at year’s end—close to the all-time inflation-adjusted price record that was reached in the early 1980s.3

The United States continued unchallenged as the world’s single largest oil-consuming nation in 2007, using almost one fourth of the global total at a rate of 20.7 million barrels daily.4 But U.S. oil consumption was virtually unchanged for the third year in a row, as rising oil prices discouraged demand despite three years of steady economic growth.5

China increased its petroleum consumption by 5.5 percent in 2007, up from 7.3 million barrels per day in 2006 to 7.7 million barrels.6 It now accounts for nearly 9 percent of the world’s total oil use.7 Over the past decade China has nearly doubled its oil consumption...
THE PRICE OF WAR PROVEN

And now consider this documented conclusion as well, from same source, noting "political instability" (i.e. war), and that Iraq oil production remains "below prewar production levels":

Political instability contributed to supply disruptions and price volatility throughout many of the world’s oil-producing regions in 2007. Iraq reached its highest level of oil production since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, but this still remains below prewar production levels.23 In 2007, Iraq raised its production 5 percent over the 2006 figure, with gains in the latter half of the year coinciding with the 2007 “troop surge.”24 Overall, though, tensions in the Middle East remain highly charged and continue to factor heavily into world supply and price activity.

Middle east war, and fears of war, drive the volatile and emotionally driven future's market on oil prices, and disrupts and limits supply, which has sent our gas prices from 1.50 per gallon when Bush took office to 3.65 per gallon today.

Kenny Bass, joined Agnello today in some double-barreled propaganda about this, and stated, authoritatively, but based upon nothing, that "the war is an excuse" for these prices, and that "increased demand" is the cause. Boulderdash! The war is the primary leading cause, not merely an unrelated "excuse" being given, while the so-called innocent oil industry has reduced their own refining capacity, deliberately, of their own free will, while not seeking new refinery capacity, in order to increase their profits! (See previous articles under "gas prices" tag).

Netanyahu Says 9/11 and Iraq War Good for Israel.

Yes we know, and the neoconservatives (like Bill Kristol who spoke at Univ. of Charleston last night) agree, which is why a UN representative is now saying the neocons (Israel-firsters) should be investigated about 9/11 (see previous article below) . Read Netanyahu's own words below. There you have it from the mouth of radical Likudnik and personal friend of Larry Silverstein (lease owner of the WTC Towers), 9/11 and the War in Iraq benefited Israel most. Here Israel reports, you decide.

Meanwhile, the same article quotes Ahmadinejad of Iran (like millions of Americans as Zogby polls document) calling 9/11 "suspicious" and convenient for a pretext for war:
"Four or five years ago, a suspicious event occurred in New York. A building collapsed...

"Under this pretext, they [the U.S.] attacked Afghanistan and Iraq and since then, a million people have been killed only in Iraq."
Of course then Netanyahu calls him Hitler, contrary to many Rabbis, despite the fact of hundreds of thousands of Jews living in Iran, practicing their religious freely, and having representation in government. You are familiar with the propaganda by now.

The reader, however, should ask him or herself, just who benefited more from 9/11--Iran or Israel? Logic dictates the answer, and motive comes into question about just which state might really have sponsored terrorism.

Netanyahu made this same statement immediately after 9/11 as well.

Report: Netanyahu says 9/11 terror attacks good for Israel
By Haaretz Service and Reuters
The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.
"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."
Netanyahu reportedly made the comments during a conference at Bar-Ilan University on the division of Jerusalem as part of a peace deal with the Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cast doubt over the veracity of the September 11 attacks Thursday, calling it a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq.

Congress Introduces Bills to Curb FBI Spy Powers

Good news here per this Washington post (linked) article. Ron Paul is behind one of these bills, which in particular restores some Constitutional bounds in regard to domestic surveillance. (Of course these letters are still much more loose than the requirements of the 4th Amendment, which requires judicial warrants exclusively "issued upon probable cause"). This legislation will need a public push, even though it is very reasonable.

Watch the Bush administration (and neocon Attorney General Mukasey) begin the fear mongering about "summer terrorism threats", which is the typical pattern when opposition legislation, consistent with the Constitution, arises.

Bipartisan groups in Congress are pressing to place new controls on the FBI's ability to demand troves of sensitive personal information from telephone providers and credit card companies, over the opposition of agency officials who say they deserve more time to clean up past abuses....

The House bill, sponsored by Nadler, Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-Mass.), Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.), would tighten the language governing when national security letters could be used, by requiring that they clearly pertain to investigations of a foreign power or an agent instead of just being considered "relevant" to such investigations.

The House bill would also force the FBI to destroy information that had been illegally obtained -- something that existing rules do not require -- and it would allow the recipient of a letter to file a civil lawsuit if the missive is found to be illegal or without sufficient factual justification.

A Senate bill, sponsored by Russell Feingold (D-Wis.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and John E. Sununu (R-N.H.), would require the FBI to track its use of the letters more carefully and would narrow the types of records that can be obtained with a letter, and therefore without judicial approval, to those that are least sensitive.

REAL ID: Idaho Rejects, Missouri House Opposes, SC Governor Publicly Renounces--While Manchin Holds West Virginians Hostage

More wise States (but not including West Virginia, being held captive by Manchin and the head of DMV) are moving against REAL ID despite the phony "extensions" (measures to coerce compliance) from the Dept. of Homeland Tyranny. Most people, however, are still too ignorant about the issue of what really goes on at DMV (becoming federalized Gestapo outposts) when they are "processed" for their innocent looking drivers license. For when that occurs an entire biometric and data-mining system is then established on them (yes, "free citizens" pre-booked like arrested criminals), including the process of linking of their ID to foreign governments (i.e. Canada and Mexico. Yes, when you cross the border Canadian customs can pull your entire personal record, including occupation, up on their screen, courtesy of the federalized DMV). Meanwhile, the security merchandisers (like Viisage, contracted with West Virginia DMV, apart from legislative or judicial oversight with new privacy invasions) are making a killing, using your tax dollars, at the expense of your personal liberties! Manchin government is more than willing to have the latest hi-tech, privacy-killing, tyrannical ID system to tag, track, and monitor you, and of course have you pay for it under the guise of "public safety". It is more than just West Virginia's official slogan of "Mountaineers are always free" that has been set aside. It is the very constitution and laws defending that which are being abandoned which prevent an intrusive, liberty-killing, over-powerful government that claims the people are its property and tags them like sheep.

People need to read so here is some help. Do not miss Washington Times commentary ("REAL ID Side Effects) below from Gov. Mark Sanford (R - South Carolina), who writes this, which is similar to the position in previous SB248 (the bi-partisan West Virginia senate bill against REAL ID) which got buried by the Governor's minions:

Our greatest homeland security is liberty, and the Founding Fathers believed our greatest threat to liberty was a central government grown too powerful. Accordingly, they set up checks on federal power by vesting authority at the individual and state levels.

REAL ID disrupts this delicate balance of power in two ways. First, it turns the Founders' logic on its head by forcing states to act as agents for the federal government in creating a national ID card for federal purposes. Needing a REAL ID to board a plane or enter a federal building would also change the balance of power in something as seemingly insignificant as a visit to a member of Congress.

Too bad Gov. Manchin is not like this (as he worked to block passage of the anti-REAL ID bill in the House), despite that he swore to "defend and uphold the Constitution" (both State and Federal) upon entry to office! Manchin is either grossly ignorant or willingly defiant of the Constitution, bowing to the federal plea of "necessity". Democrat and republican voters alike should mark his constitutional violation well, which has occurred frequently behind warm smiles.

Along with the articles about Idaho now joining the growing list of anti-REAL ID states, and Missouri on the brink (as well as California), do not miss the blog article from Reasonable Citizen ("Making States Submit to Federal Authority"), who makes a strong case against REAL ID, including this good observation:
"The 9/11 Commission could have said: 'The States must set standards for drivers licenses and other forms of identification.' But, no, they decided that only the Federal government could set standards and then force the States to comply.... Why is the Federal government forcing this upon people? Because they know that nobody wants a Federal ID system. Nobody.... By forcing the States to do something at a local level, the Federal government can create a Federal ID system without taking any of the heat."

April 15th: Is the Federal Income Tax Lawful and Compulsory?

Former IRS Special Agent, Joe Banister, recounts his coming to terms with the truth about the Federal Income Tax

THE REAL TAX EVASION

Here, IRS Commissioner blatantly evades answering the open and honest questioning about what law actually requires Americans to pay the Income Tax, in a press conference about that very subject. No law, not even the 16th Amendment, is given in reply to the reporter. Why? Even at their own press conference, inviting questions, they are unable to answer forthrightly to settle the legal argument once and for all.

FAA Safety Czar Sabatini Should be Fired for AA Cancellations

The godfather of safety at the FAA, Nicholas Sabatini, should be immediately fired for his direct role in coercing the unnecessary and irrational cancellation of over 3000 American Airlines flights for a minor standard violation that did not threaten the public safety, while coddling other airlines with greater violations. His "straining at a gnat, while swallowing a camel" resulted in national travel chaos and economic disaster for which he is primarily responsible.

This clip from FOXbusiness from April 11th proves that this analysis is sound, and that the flights were cancelled when the immediate public safety was not threatened:

The fact that the FAA previously gave airlines up to 18 months to comply with the safety directive is a clear indication that this was not a threat to safety-of-flight and in no way required airlines to ground aircraft and displace thousands of customers. In addition, during the initial audit, airlines inspected were cleared in compliance with this directive by the FAA regulators -- a clear oversight of the FAA's regulators to pay close attention to the complicated and precise specifications of their own airworthiness directive.
Additional news coverage this week showed experts saying that this maintenance adjustment could have been done in a less disruptive easy rotation of aircraft to keep everyone flying. Meanwhile news stories are uncovering that FAA inspectors claim that FAA bosses hindered work, even in a threatening manner. (Thus our godfather imagery fits precisely).

The purpose of the FAA is to prevent public danger or chaos, not create it! This was the greatest cancellation and grounding of flights since 9/11, a public transportation disaster not caused by terrorist saboteurs , but by the government itself.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia was among those in Congress in this article button-holing Mr. Sabatini and saying that someone should be fired , and rightly so.

WASHINGTON -- Outrage over mass cancellations of American Airlines flights spilled into Congress on Thursday as lawmakers blamed the Federal Aviation Administration for indirectly contributing to the hardships shouldered by thousands of stranded travelers.
Nicholas Sabatini, the FAA's associate administrator for safety, endured relentless questions by members of a Senate subcommittee on aviation, who took turns denouncing "systematic" regulatory failures by the FAA. Several suggested that the cancellations may not have been necessary if the agency had been tougher in the past.
