Former Press Secretary Blows Whistle on Bush Administration--"Secretive" and "Compartmentalized" White House

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan's new book is the ultimate in a trend of whistle-blowing that dares to show the American public and inside view of "What Happened" and how decisions were and are made within the Bush administration. As per our previous article on Bugliosi's new book on how to prosecute George W. Bush it is apparent that McClellan would make a credible witness on the stand.

But now the White House and other Bush loyalists are rushing to form a lynch mob (not to defend the Constitution, but a man) as if to criticize and expose what really happened in the secretive administration is some form of treason. On the contrary, how could shedding light, from a former close friend of George Bush, on the administration do any harm...if they have nothing to hide? Why not turn the lights on the inside of a White House that is very proud of everything it has done? He is now being called "self-serving", a "different Scott McClellan", and "disgruntled" employee (the type of which make the best witnesses in corrupt organizations) who is ticked off--desperate attempts to discredit a credible insider! Pardon me, but just who has been self-serving? Who is this George W. Bush that ran in 2000 on "no nation building" and "judicious use of the military" (versus Clinton's war for democracy in Bosnia, that republicans condemned justly), and as a "uniter not a divider"? And just who, pray tell, is "disgruntled" now, but George W. Bush (his former close friend), Cheney, Libby, Rove, and the rest of the "compartmentalized" and "secretive" cabal surrounding Bush in the White House? Unlike them, Scott McClellan has a conscience, and is intellectually concerned that what he calls "permanent campaigning" (i.e. propaganda) rules the White House, and may continue to do so under either party to the detriment of good government and the American people!

In particular, the propaganda to start the Iraq war, which he admits was a "war to democratize the middle east" (the neoconservative plan from the Project for New American Century, which Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, and many others were apart of), and talks about a "secretive" and "compartmentalized" (like a White House within the White House) administration, with Cheney as the man "behind the curtain", who was given "broad authority" to do "whatever" needed done! With these words the fears, suspicions, observations, and conclusions of millions of Americans is now confirmed--i.e. that the Bush administration is a secretive rogue government, run by a tight knit cabal (conspiracy) that is dishonest with the American people about terrorism and war.

Time for republicans to sit up and pay attention and follow the documentation here. This is not mere allegation or conjecture. The republicans must purge the self-labeled neoconservatives from their ranks and philosophical policies if they expect to be respected by patriotic Americans and West Virginians. The Libby prosecution and sentence commute is a key illustrative point in this most important issue.

The neo-republicans (neo-conservative controlled republicans) have defended the Bush decision to commute Libby's sentence (and justify further pardon) by simply stating that Clinton pardoned the infamous Mark Rich. The fallacy in this argument is two-fold: (1) it plays the party card and says therefore that Bush's virtual pardon is just as bad as Clinton's (i.e. therefore justified?), and (2) it fails to look deeper and just who both Mark Rich and 'Scooter' Libby are. When will this partisan game stop! NEITHER WAS JUSTIFIED, BOTH WERE CORRUPT, BUT DONE TO DEFEND THE ISRAELI OPERATIVES HEAVILY INVOLVED IN COVERT ACTIVITIES ON BEHALF OF ISRAEL WITHIN U.S. GOVERNMENT. (The same can be said of Larry Franklin as well, also spying for Israel and removing classified documents to cover a trail). After reading this article you will see why Rudy Guliani was "compelled" (i.e. due to his own historical involvement) to vehemently protest Libby's sentence, in order to stay on a particular group's good side. Why should this revelation be surprising? The neocons are largely comprised of Israeli-Zionist infiltrators who have hijacked, thru Cheney, and others well placed outside with Pentagon ties through "consulting" contracts (e.g. Booz Hamilton's James Woolsey, Rabbi Dov Zakheim--follow the money trail to Israel here), both the Executive Branch and the Pentagon. (The "Zionist" elements in the Pentagon are openly discussed by former Colin Powell aid Larry Wilkerson, whom he calls "a cabal" here). This is why Libby was virtually pardoned, and their is no pretended conflict between Libby and Rove et al--the neocons control the Executive Branch! Libby's rise to power was part and parcel of the ascendancy of the neo-conservatives to the summits of US policy making. Libby was a student, protégé, and collaborator with Paul Wolfowitz for over 25 years. Libby, along with Wolfowitz, Elliot Abrams, Douglas Feith, Kagan, Cohen, Rubin, Pollack, Chertoff, Fleisher, Kristol, Marc Grossman, Shumsky and a host of other political operators, were long-term believers and aggressive proponents of a virulently militaristic tendency of Zionism linked with the rightwing Likud Party of Israel.

It is time for Americans to wake up and see that a foreign power has hijacked (via 9/11 as a "catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor"--PNAC document) and virtually controls the present U.S. government!

I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby has been a long-serving intelligence agent for Israel's Mossad, according to a veteran CIA "official cover" officer who spoke to WMR on deep background. The CIA's Clandestine Service has, over the years, gathered a tremendous amount of intelligence on Libby's activities on behalf of Mossad.

Libby served as the lawyer for Switzerland-based American fugitive financier Marc Rich, aka Mark David Reich, who is also known to be an Israeli intelligence asset and someone Israel relies upon for missions that demand "plausible deniability" on the part of the Mossad. Rich heads up a worldwide empire of dummy corporations, foundations, and numbered bank accounts that have been involved in sanctions busting and weapons smuggling. The nations involved include Israel, United States, United Kingdom, Iran, Panama, Colombia, Russia, Iraq (under Saddam Hussein), Cuba, Spain, Nigeria, Singapore, Bolivia, Jamaica, Bermuda, France, Italy, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Australia, Argentina, Peru, Ireland, Zambia, Sweden, Monaco, and apartheid South Africa.

In 1983, the then-U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York urged jail time for Rich and his partner Pincus Green for racketeering. The name of that U.S. Attorney is Rudolph Giuliani. Giuliani, who is now running for president, praised Bush's decision to commute Libby's jail sentence. After Clinton's pardon of Rich, Giuliani said he was "shocked." Paul Klebnikov, the Moscow editor for Forbes' Russian edition, wrote about the connections of Rich to Russian gangsters like Boris Berezovsky, a business partner of Neil Bush, in his book "Godfather of the Kremlin." Klebnikov was shot to death gangland-style on a Moscow street on July 9, 2004.

Libby not only provided the Mossad with a top agent inside the White House but also an important conduit for the Russian-Israeli Mafia.

Libby arranged for Rich's eleventh hour pardon by outgoing President Bill Clinton in January 2001. The pardon of Rich was urged in a phone call to Clinton by then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, as well as Shimon Peres and Ehud Olmert.

Yesterday, Libby received a commutation of his 30-month prison sentence from President George W. Bush. Libby was convicted on four counts of perjury, lying to a federal law enforcement officer, and obstruction of justice in the investigation by U.S. Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald of the White House's leak to the media of the identity CIA non-official cover officer Valerie Plame Wilson.

Libby was denied bail by U.S. Judge Reggie Walton and was ordered to prison while appealing his sentence. Libby was assigned Bureau of Prisons inmate number 28301-016.

Libby worked for Paul Wolfowitz in the State Department's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs from 1982 to 1985. Libby again worked for Wolfowitz in the Pentagon as the Principal Undersecretary for Strategy and Resources. Libby later became the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Policy and served as a chief aide to Defense Secretary Dick Cheney.

It was while Libby was working for Wolfowitz at State, the FBI arrested Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, who had delivered enough highly-classified U.S. documents they could have entirely filled a garage. It was well known that Pollard had a "control officer" within the Reagan administration. The control officer was code-named "Mega."

Current British Lord Chancellor and former British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said that during Middle East peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, "It's a toss-up whether [Libby] is working for the Israelis or the Americans on any given day." Clinton's Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder told the House Government Affairs Committee in 2001 that he discovered much more about Rich after Clinton's pardon and said, "Knowing everything that I know now, I would not have recommended to the president that he grant the pardon."

It has also been reported that, in addition to pressure from leading neocons in the United States to keep Libby out of jail, Bush was urged by leading Israeli government officials to prevent Libby from going to prison.

Fitzgerald issued the following statement regarding Bush's commutation of Libby's prison sentence:

"We fully recognize that the Constitution provides that commutation decisions are a matter of presidential prerogative and we do not comment on the exercise of that prerogative.

We comment only on the statement in which the President termed the sentence imposed by the judge as 'excessive.' The sentence in this case was imposed pursuant to the laws governing sentencings which occur every day throughout this country. In this case, an experienced federal judge considered extensive argument from the parties and then imposed a sentence consistent with the applicable laws. It is fundamental to the rule of law that all citizens stand before the bar of justice as equals. That principle guided the judge during both the trial and the sentencing.

Although the President's decision eliminates Mr. Libby's sentence of imprisonment, Mr. Libby remains convicted by a jury of serious felonies, and we will continue to seek to preserve those convictions through the appeals process

Ambassador Joe Wilson on Libby Commutation--Proves Bush's complicity in CONTINUING to Obstruct Justice

It was asked on talk radio "why was there no one prosecuted of leaking Plame's name then?" ANSWER: Because that is what Libby did and how and why he Obstructed Justice, to protect the identity of the leaker! That is the very reason Libby was prosecuted--he SUCCESSFULLY obstructed justice!

Bush by commutting Libby's sentence proves his own involvement and complicity in continuing to obstruct justice. Valerie was only collateral damage in the main issue, the Obstruction of Justice toward investigation of the major criminal intelligence leak which was payback for exposing the fake "intelligence" justifying war with Iraq.

FLASHBACK: Ambassador Joseph Wilson put the whole matter in perspective when Libby was sentenced.

Note the prosecutor was a Bush-appointed republican and the judge also appointed by Bush. Where is the partisanship or bias in the prosecution of Libby? It was entirely out of the democrats hands and in the most friendly hands there could possibly be!

Bush Commutes Libby's Sentence; Talk Radio Impugnes Prosecution as "Political"

Seizing on the timing of the produced propaganda of "terror" plots in the UK as a convenient distraction, Bush commuted Libby's sentence to prison. Talk radio ignoramuses calling into WCHS today tried to say this was a "Democrat" conspiracy (while the Bush administration was advancing a conspiracy theory of WMD in Iraq with "no doubt" rhetoric that was outright lies and distortion) to cause trouble for the Bush administration, despite the fact that it was a NON-POLITICAL prosecution by this Republican Prosecutor and a non-partisan Grand Jury! Now consider republican Bush-appointed prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald's viewpoint, in his own news conference, about PERJURY, LYING UNDER OATH, HIGH OFFICIALS, AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, and a "prosecutor's duty", and ask yourself whether this was "political" or an important LEGAL prosecution against corruption within the administration--which could have gone much higher!

Now consider the record per the Washington Post article, which makes the real reason for commuting Libby's sentence is to deflect the "cloud" around Cheney himself, who used the "outing" of Plame to ruin her career as payback for her husband's (Joe Wilson) proof that Saddam was not seeking uranium from Niger, contrary to the President's deceitful State of the Union Speech used to justify war with Iraq. The implications are clear, the "intelligence" was a manufactured lie to justify the war which loyalist republicans still refuse to accept, and that Libby was the loyal "fall guy" (thus Bush defended him) who lied and obstructed justice about the Plame affair to PROTECT VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY, AND TO PROTECT THE "BIG LIE" WHICH JUSTIFIED THE WAR. Defending the WMD lie was absolutely essential, and orchestrated by Cheney (head of the neoconservatives fifth column embedded in the administration and Pentagon pushing the PNAC plan for a "new middle east" devised in Sept. 2000) in order to accomplish their objective of the invasion of Iraq under guise of a "war on terrorism". Wilson had to be "dealt with" for his column exposing the lie.

Fitzgerald Again Points to Cheney

In Friday's eminently readable court filing, Fitzgerald quotes the Libby defense calling his prosecution "unwarranted, unjust, and motivated by politics." In responding to that charge, the special counsel evidently felt obliged to put Libby's crime in context. And that context is Dick Cheney.

Libby's lies, Fitzgerald wrote, "made impossible an accurate evaluation of the role that Mr. Libby and those with whom he worked played in the disclosure of information regarding Ms. Wilson's CIA employment and about the motivations for their actions."

It was established at trial that it was Cheney himself who first told Libby about Plame's identity as a CIA agent, in the course of complaining about criticisms of the administration's run-up to war leveled by her husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson. And, as Fitzgerald notes: "The evidence at trial further established that when the investigation began, Mr. Libby kept the Vice President apprised of his shifting accounts of how he claimed to have learned about Ms. Wilson's CIA employment."

The investigation, Fitzgerald writes, "was necessary to determine whether there was concerted action by any combination of the officials known to have disclosed the information about Ms. Plame to the media as anonymous sources, and also whether any of those who were involved acted at the direction of others. This was particularly important in light of Mr. Libby's statement to the FBI that he may have discussed Ms. Wilson's employment with reporters at the specific direction of the Vice President." (My italics.)

Not clear on the concept yet? Fitzgerald adds: "To accept the argument that Mr. Libby's prosecution is the inappropriate product of an investigation that should have been closed at an early stage, one must accept the proposition that the investigation should have been closed after at least three high-ranking government officials were identified as having disclosed to reporters classified information about covert agent Valerie Wilson, where the account of one of them was directly contradicted by other witnesses, where there was reason to believe that some of the relevant activity may have been coordinated, and where there was an indication from Mr. Libby himself that his disclosures to the press may have been personally sanctioned by the Vice President." (My italics.)

Up until now, Fitzgerald's most singeing attack on Cheney came during closing arguments at the Libby trial in February. Libby's lawyers had complained that Fitzgerald was trying to put a "cloud" over Cheney without evidence to back it up -- and that set Fitzgerald off. As I wrote in my Feb. 21 column, the special counsel responded with fire: "There is a cloud over what the Vice President did that week. . . . He had those meetings. He sent Libby off to [meet then-New York Times reporter] Judith Miller at the St. Regis Hotel. At that meeting, the two-hour meeting, the defendant talked about the wife. We didn't put that cloud there. That cloud remains because the defendant has obstructed justice and lied about what happened. . . .

"That's not something that we put there. That cloud is something that we just can't pretend isn't there."

Finally, here is Valeria Plame's Testimony before Congress verifying her covert status (for the doubters) which was denigrated by Talk Show ignoramuses who refuse to deal with the truth because they are more loyal to a lying administration (party loyalty at all costs) than to the Constitution of the United States, despite required oaths of office:

"It was clear that what Scooter was doing in the Wilson case was at Dick's behest," said Kenneth Adelman, a former Reagan administration official who has been close to both men but has broken with Cheney over the Iraq war. "That was clear. It was clear from Dick's notes on the Op-Ed piece that he wanted to go get Wilson. And Scooter's not that type. He's not a vindictive person."

The Libby conviction has everything to do with exposing VP Cheney, the secretive "cabal" headquartered in the Office of Special Plans, and the neoconservative Fifth Column, the ones who chose George W. Bush to be their front man for the White House, the ones behind the official story of 9/11, the official justification for Iraq war, and the "war on terrorism". Before, during and after 9/11 it has been Cheney at the controls, in total secrecy (operating from "the shadows", his words), hijacking and operating a rogue government with a republican guard. Both Cheney and Libby were members of the Project for a New American Century, and it is clear that Libby did not "take the fall" for Rove, but for Cheney, and we have testimony here (quoted above) from a former Reagan administration official familiar with both men, using the most indicting words. The outting of Valerie Plame was vindictive vengeance against Ambassador Joe Wilson for his public letter refuting the claims that Iraq had "uranium" from Africa, which Dick Cheney himself had asserted as evidence of Saddam's "there is no doubt" threat. This is the M.O. of a secretive VP and faction that "fix the intelligence around the policy", and use force and intimidation to defend their blatant lies, which they must use to justify otherwise unconstitutional, irrational and insane military actions. Perjury lies not only with Libby, who was "following orders", but with Vice President Cheney himself.

Should we not note also the coincidental timing of Dick Cheney's sudden running around the entire world (in a very secretive trip, with sudden and unannounced stops, and an aircraft "problem"), while continuing to saber-rattle against Iran, and intimidate Pakistan (because the American puppet dictator installed by coupe is falling apart)...is this the last efforts of a desperate man, and usurper of power, who hides in the shadows, but controls all, behind the "President"--hell-bent on finishing the neoconservative "blueprint" for a PAX AMERICANA and "new middle east" based upon a preconceived response to a "catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor"?

Note also how the NATIONAL REVIEW (i.e. William Kristol, PNAC founder) defended their neocon friend shifty "Scooter" Libby--calling it a "politicized prosecution", overlooking that Patrick Fitzgerald was a republican prosecutor (and a good one) appointed by George W Bush! THE NEOCONS ARE CIRCLING THEIR WAGONS, IN A DEFENSIVE POSTURE OF DESPARATION, WHILE EVEN PENTAGON GENERALS ARE NOW IN FULL OPPOSITION to their Iran war-mongering. Even the compliant General Peter Pace did not bow to their pressure, provoking the neoconservative's revenge.

This of course means things could suddenly become very tumultous ("terror attack", "terrorist arrests", distractions, etc)! Cheney is not the type that would "resign" as they are speculating due to a "blood clot in his leg", which was diagnosed as caused by his sudden, lengthy, trans-world secret excursion, from being seated so long on an airline (pray, do tell us how? He does not fly United. Air Force One does not require continuous sitting, but has lounges and walking space, even excercise facilities). It appears that Cheney's obsessive ambitions are the undoing of his own health, and his appearance has of recent shown a frame that looks more akin to Ariel Sharon who recently had a stroke, much as Napolean's ambitions led him to the brink of collapse before Waterloo. Desparate men never change their course, but plunge headlong into dangerous an reckless pursuit of their unilateral agenda, putting millions of lives literally in the balance, based upon their insane vision of global conquest. Major battle fleets have been recklessly positioned near Iran, and now Bush is calling for an increase to his "troop surge", and a rapid deployment is taking place before Congress can prevent or block funds to this "reckless and arrogant administration" (Sen. Robert C. Byrd). Conservatives and former Reagan Adminstration officials are warning, "Americans have lost their country" to a rogue and hijacked government. Until Richard Cheney is arrested (the Generals swear an oath to defend the Constitution, that has been usurped and trampled, not the President or Vice President, and have lawful authority to arrest to recover power from a tyrant), along with the neoconservative infiltrators, America will continue to be a world menace, as much as Alexander and Napolean. America's sons and daughters will continue to be the cannon fodder for unconstitutional and rogue wars using a corrupted doctrine of "pre-emption" for unilateral invasion and imperialism for "Democracy"--a global democratic jihad more dangerous and more real than the propaganda about "Islamo Fascism".
