Watch and see if the "liberal media", MSM and contracted newspaper news wires report this at all, which they should on the heels of the Senate Intel Committee report (see previous article). We will see if the media is as complicit in stifling and opposing impeachment as they were for aiding and abetting the propaganda to go to war. Here is an excerpt, to which every American, unless they are traitors, must give support to and upon it take action instead of watching sports and entertainment while the remnants of legitimate government are overthrown. Anyone who blindly supports the present elections as a means of "change" is self-deluded, by definition, as Gravel in his article points out:

The illegitimate authority of this newly constructed imperial Presidency – this Supreme Commander-in-Chief created by Cheney and Bush – has replaced the Rule-of-Law based on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

House Judiciary Members Call for Impeachment of Cheney NOW!

Faced with an obstructionist leadership in the House, and a mainstream media that have forsaken their role as a Fourth Estate monitor of government abuse, three Democratic members of the House Judiciary Committee are calling on the public to demand that the Congress initiate impeachment hearings immediately against Vice President Dick Cheney.

Wexler, a six-term congressman seeking re-election, says, “I believe that there is a constitutional obligation for the Congress to hold this administration accountable, and it should not depend on what people think the impact might be on an election. The only question should be: Did Vice President Cheney abuse his powers?” He adds, “If the American people believe that the democrats are holding a legitimate inquiry into serious issues of constitutional importance, they will not hold it against them. And besides, initial polling would indicate that this is not some off-the-reservation idea.”

After all PERJURY for the purpose to initiate the war in Iraq, "fixing the intelligence around the policy" to do so, is a "high crime", no "misdemeanor".

Reagan Lawyer Pushes for Impeachment Against Bush/Cheney

Bruce Fein is a republican constitutional lawyer from the Reagan administration (hardly a "liberal") who immediately saw the danger and began to wax hot against Bush after 9/11. He was even involved in the American Enterprise Institute, a neocon stronghold. It is ironic that he is the one pushing it. Both guests on Moyer's Journal make strong arguments for impeachment upon principle--something that partisanship has obstructed. Actually, the argument is also made that Congress is obstructing justice, i.e. the Constitution, by not impeaching them immediately, or long ago. What is at stake is nothing less than Monarchical vs. Constitutional powers.
