Although the hybrid caucus / convention does not replace the Republican primary in May, it will allocate 18 of the state’s 27 delegates, rather than the previous ‘winner take all’ style of previous primaries. Arizona Senator John McCain will send former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer to stump for him on Monday and Tuesday Meanwhile, candidate Ron Paul will address the convention early Tuesday. His supporters will have a Hospitality Suite set up in the Hawk’s Nest Room (beside the White Water Grill) in the Marriott Hotel from 4-10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4. The candidate will greet supporters from about 8:30 a.m. until a little before 9:30 a.m. Dr. Paul will deliver the first speech to the delegates at around 9:30 a.m.
